In this introduction given to the London Old Hegelian’s last year I attempt to take stock of where the group had got to in its reading of Hegel’s Phenomenology of the Spirit.
In particular I explore the distinction drawn between ancient and modern dialectics, as well as the difference that is sometimes identified between dialectics in a negative and a positive form.
Hegel is back, some say.
